Hats Off to
Kimpton Hotel Monaco Chicago

A Downtown Chicago Hotel

4-Star Chicago Hotel

Our circa-1912 building is an important part of Chicago’s historic Loop, and if you look closely, you’ll see us paying homage to that (note the models behind the front desk wearing hats from 1912 — the building was first constructed to be a hat factory). We’ve put our Kimpton twist on this beautiful old building, adding in art deco frescoes of the four seasons, a cozy fireplace, wildly patterned rugs, and world traveler style. And of course, our service is worth tipping your hat for — everyone from our bellmen to concierge will help make your stay personalized. All of that, plus our world-famous window seats in the rooms, keep guests coming back again and again — your satisfaction is what we hang our hat on.

South Water Kitchen’s Deviled Eggs

Eat Local

Based in what used to be called the South Water Market District, the spot where Chicago received and distributed its fresh produce, South Water Kitchen pays tribute to its location by using seasonal, farm-fresh ingredients to make updated Midwestern staples like Bourbon Braised Pork Belly and Grilled Rabbit Sausage.
